About the performance and the different types of data.

Hi everybody.

I have this question.

In large sets of data (i´m talking about very heavy apps and it´s important to reduce the weight) the type is important?

Im mean, (in special this example). integrer numbers like 1, 2, 3 or decimal numbers like 1,123123 etc.

Or dates in number or in strings.

What are better? there is a real difference?
