We have used SQL Server driver from Day 1 on qlik infra for connecting Qlik to SQL DB. However, as part of quality process, we are now asked to follow TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2 which is found incompatible with SQL Server client.
Alternate options: We tried ODBC Driver and SQL Server Native Client (2017 edition).
Both ensured a successful connection to DB. However, the resulting data set has shown some differences. Starting with Date field which earlier was fetching VALUES in 'YYYY-MM-DD' format are now extracting same data in number format (43250 for an instance).
What feasible options do i have to handle this while extraction itself. It is not feasible for us to make date format changes across all our Qlik solutions as it would take weeks to identify and make the changes everywhere.
