Documentation on the QV 12 datasource connections

Greeting All,

I am looking for documentation on establishing data source connections on QV 12 64-bit server (specifically it should be able to connect to Oracle 11g 64-bit DB), but don’t have any luck yet.

Issues:

• Trying to connect to the DB through ‘QvOdbcConnectorPackage.exe’. Getting a message:

• The regular ODBC connection doesn’t work properly either even if testing is OK:

but when trying to select any objects from the table getting the following message which seems to be crashing the application:

It appears that on the server side the ODBC connection has been established properly:

I am not sure if these 2 issues are related, but in any case the documentation would be really helpful and any advice appreciated.

Just to add: the 'Qlik ODBC Connector Package' has been installed on the server according to the document found, and it appears able to connect trough 'QvOdbcConnectorPackage.exe'.

The only part is not really clear is why still not able to connect through regular ODBC with the same message.

The questions are still open:

- where can I get documentation on the QV 12 database connections?

- why the regular ODBC connection to the Oracle database not working properly?

I would really appreciate help in clarifying these points.
