Edit Tables

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to know if anyone knows a method that allows to add one or more empty rows in a table, where I can insert new data that can be loaded into QVD.

Is there a way to do this or is it pure fantasy ?!

Hi Gabriele,,

You need to use a LOAD CONCATENATE to do it.

Look this link http://community.qlik.com/message/567483#567483

Sorry perhaps I expressed badly ... I wanted to know if i could create, edit and reload a new row in a simple table or a pivot table and not directly working on the script.

I think that's not possible, but...... maybe someone can confirm it!

Hi Gabriele,

Not from what I know. Once the script is finished the whole set of data is closed.

Any modification must be done by the script.

Cheers!

Have a look at the Q-Eye bolt on product.

You might create input fields using the "inputfield" statement to edit existing field values (that might be loaded as placeholder values during script execution).

hope this helps

The goal is to allow the user to edit the tables so that you can keep data up to date without having to update continually the excels files.
