HI,
Is there anyway to show the starting value of a Field Selection when slelecting three or four values on a text box.
Hi,
Try this, it works for me
=SubField(Concat(DISTINCT MonthYear, ',', Date), ',', 1)
MonthYear - is my Month field
Date - is my Date field from which Month is arrived.
Regards,
Jagan.
min(field) works ?
If I understand the requirement correctly you need to use functions "getfieldselections" and "pick" together.
One more suggestion - use function firstsortedvalue()
May ypu please give me Example on this
Thxs,
This work if the value is a number
Hi,
use MaxString(Field)
Hi,
This will help if i am using alphabetical values..
I am using Month Names and my selection in order is : Nov, Dec , Jan
and I need the text box to show the first selected Value
Hi,
Try using MinString()
=MinString(FieldName)
Regards,
Jagan.
MinString will get me the First alphabetical Value"the value wich is close to A" and MaxString is giving the Value which is close to Z.
I have a list box with Months names in them and I want to the text box to show the first value.
Such as If I choose JUL, Aug, Sep then My first value should be JUl and my last value will be Sep.
