Hi All
I have installed the IE Plugin for Windows 7, however when ticking the Macro Box cannot remember whether to allow Macros or not!
The issue is that when trying to Export to Excel no document appears. A colleagues Export to Excel function works seamless.
Please can someone assist on either trying to resolve the problem at hand, or to get the pop up screen again where you may select the correct Macro selection.
I have tried de-installing and re-installing but still to no joy.
Regards
Craig
Macros depends from user-settings, perhaps you have clicked the wrong option ....
Go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView and change or remove the settings.ini - if you didn't have many customized settings removing is the easier way.

Thanks Marcus
I have tried that as well from other threads and still am unable to enable Macros or Export to Excel?
Any other suggestions?

Craig
Hi, try to attach and example to see what happend
Fernando
Hi, I am not sure what to attach as nothing can be exported. Every selection spins the think icon and then results back to the std pointing icon.
It is as if the data is being gathered by the machine then no execution to opening program?

Re: How to Get Rid of Module Security Dialog Box when Exporting to Excel
"
As far as I know, the 'Give System Access to Module Script' IE Plugin option is stored in a Settings.ini file located at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView (Win7 folder) in the client machine. When you open the file, there should have a piece of code like:
[Settings for QlikView Servers]
Module Script System\servername1=
Module Script System\servername2=
Module Script System\servername3=
"
Export-macros to excel require the proper access/security rights - could you export to excel manually, have you access to the target file-directory, run simply macros like msgbox "Hello World"?
- Marcus
I have the appropriate access rights – as my profile on my colleagues machine allows to export.
On my machine is seems to have embedded not to export.

Thanks, all I get is this:
ExamplesFolder=Examples
InstalledLIBID110={some long code}
InterfaceLanguage=English
Not all settings are within the user-profil, have you tried my suggestions on your local machine?
