I have been looking for information about how to open (or download) external documents (like pdfs, words or something like that) from QlikView, but I have not found the solution.
Another nice trick is to use the Expression Display Type "Link". Because QlikView is rather careful about relinquishing control, you'll have to confirm the launch of the external application (like Word, Acrobat Reader and such).
