Pick Match without Variable

Hi All,

We have a scenario where we are using Fractile() function, where we want to vary our value depending on the fraction value.

If the variable(marked in black area below image) value of fractile function is 0.1 then 15 should be returned, if 0.2 then 17 should be returned and so on.

Please find below image, which depicts what exactly we want -

Here we have tried to use a variable in place of variable (marked in black area above), but didn't work.

Can we use the Pick Match variable without a variable.

Please assist on same.

Regards,

MK

I don't really understand what you're asking. Use a variable in place of a variable?

Perhaps you can post a qlikview document that explains what you're actually trying to do.

Hi Gysbert,

Please find attached the application.

In the application, in straight table we are using AGGR function in fractile function, because of which there is a big performance issue.

So we thought to use Pick Match for the Fraction part of the Fractile Function.

Can you look into it and revert.

MK
