QlikView shows different values depending on the way the document was opened

Hi,

QlikView shows different values depending on the way the document was opened. If I follow the open dialog and browse to the file on the server then every thing is fine. If I open the document via server (it's published) then I get different values. One value is missing. If I open the document via Web Access then the value is also missing.

Of course, I saved the document several times and re-opened it in all the different ways. But it's still wrong. No section access, no partial reload, no conditional calculation.

Any ideas?

Edit: It's QlikView 10 SR2, if that's decisive.

I did have a similar issue about 3 months ago with a set analysis expression returning zero value via AJAX and the correct value on local desktop.  All document refreshes made no difference.  In the end I stopped and started the Qlikview service and this corrected the issue.

I have been monitoring the issue but haven't observed it again since.

Hi,

I don't fully understand your question, but if you are asking me what I think caused the issue - the answer is I don't know, but as a QV service stop-start fixed it, I know it wasn't in the design of the expression.  Perhaps server memory related?

If you have the Desktop Version of QlikView then I don't understand how you open the document in different ways? As far as I know Web Access and Server Publisher is only available if you use the Server Version of QlikView, isn't it?
