QlikView vs SAS Visual Analytics & Tableau
Hi All,
I've used QlikView for a few years and I really love the product, though I've just joined a company who are looking at using either QlikView, SAS Visual Analytics or Tableau.
Though I have no experience using either Tableau or SAS, do you know of any areas in which QlikView is excels above SAS or Tableau in either the data transormation functionality available in the load script or the visual data presentation features?
I guess I'm looking to build an argument why QlikView is better than the others
Many thanks,
Phil

Hey Phil,
I have attended SAS Visual Analytics demo few days before.
What I found measurably cost difference is huge as compare to Qlikview.
I do agree its more mature and most of feature it will provide that of Qlikview.
But no one can beat Qlikview set analysis power.
Thanks & Regards,

Thanks Kiran,
Yes I agree, the problem we have is that lots of different people are
involved in the decision making.
The decision makers all have their own preferences too, some want SAS,
some want Tableau.
Unfortuanetly I don't have any experience of using SAS or Tableau to say
in which areas QlikView is a better option.
Though as you say the cost of SAS may price itself out of the final
running.
Kind Regards,
Phil

Hi Lourna
If you still are active on Qlik Community I would very much like to know what your experiences are with SAS VA vs QlikView. It seems we might be going the same way.
Thanks!
