Hi all,
Although a selection in one sheet will reflect throughout the document, for some reason (i.e. include set identifier "1") this does not happen again in my document. I will like to reinforce this.
This is what i am after:
My document has two sheets: SheetA and SheetB.
Both Sheets have Date (list box).
If I select a date value in Date (list box) in SheetA and I open SheetB I want the same date selected.
Regards,
then remove the inclusion of (i.e. include set identifier "1")
By default qlikview will take the same date selection across the tab, if you have used the same field in all tabs...
Please check whether you have used the same date field in both the sheets..
if yes, please check whether you have any sheet level triggers in your qvw...
Hi, the Set Identifier was include in SheetA for a purpose. What I want to do now is to work round it. That is if I select Date='Today' in SheetA and I open SheetB, I want to force SheetB to select Date='Today'
can you post a sample/QVW?
HI phresh ,
In qlikview you can select any value in one sheet it is applicable for all sheets,
you can to change that by using triggers or alternate state concepts
what ever u are asking in above is by default qlikview property.
and u are facing this issue because of ur set expression on ur sheetA.
so,u can try this ..create a macro and use that macro to trigger on each sheet.
Sub MacToday
ActiveDocument.Fields("UrdateField").Select Date(Now())
End sub
try tis,
Sub MacToday
ActiveDocument.Fields("UrdateField").Select Date(TODAY())
End sub
Please is it possible to do this without a macro?
IF there is no is no selection in the document, Select Date (List box) = 'Today'
Can you post a sample qvw?
