String Manipulation

I was hoping someone could please steer me in the right direction. I have tried nested do while loops with no avail. I have a source document that reads for example a record with 2 fields
field1, This; is; a; sample
that I would like to convert to (in this case) 4 records delimter being the semi colon (;)

i.e:

field1, This
field1, is
field1, a
field1, sample

in a load statement

the script of the file is writen like this:

load subfield(Field1,';') as Field1;
LOAD * INLINE [
Field1
This;Is;a;Sample
];
