User has suddenly lost access to some reports but other users are not affected

I am desperate to find a solution here as I have a user who has suddenly loss access to a data on a report.
One minute he can see data in a report and then later on during the day he can't.
Basically, he can click on the report in Access Point, and when it loads all he is getting is effectively the report template, such as the boxes for the filters and a space for where the data should go. We have found that he is getting http 401 errors, but others users were getting this too but not experiencing issue. We have removed the .shared file, and restarted the QlikView Server, and the IIS Server. We have added the user directly to the QVW file for the report and restarted the QlikView Server. None of this has made a bit of difference.
Access is by Windows Authentication and having the user with a CAL.
