Why to use # tag in label?

Hi Guys,

Label helps us to give simple and easily understandable name.

But in QlikView, Is there any purpose to give names like # of passengers ?    Why to specify # tag in label?

The reason I am asking is , in the book it's mentioned to give name like above..i.e, using #.

# is shorter than 'number', so it's often used instead for labels. That's all. If your users don't understand # then don't use it. If you have enough space for 'number' in your labels then you can use 'number' instead. It's all up to you. Use what's best for your situation.
