Dear rgv,

Naming convention is necessary, it will helps to developers as well as business users.

For example:

CST_DATA table should be renamed with Customers: Customers is more understandable instead of CST_DATA.

Prefix:

Manufacturer_Country table which consist on map fields should be prefixed with Map_Manufacturer_Country

Prefix for Key Field: Percentage sign ( % )

Prefix for Measures: Hash sign ( # )

Prefix for Flags: Underscore ( _ )

Try to use prefix for clear understanding.

Reference book: QlikView 11 for Developers

Please note: Have a look into Book QlikView 11 for Developers, for better and with example understanding

Hi,

You can have the fact tables start with fact

ex: fact_revenue

dimension tables with dim ex: dim_country

you can choose to leave the dim table names as it is.

Finally depends on the conventions you would like to follow.

thanks,
