non recognition of resident table ...

this is a problem that i have had on a number of occasions and after significant restructuring has resolved itself however i have not

understood the problem:

a table is introduced eg.

NewTable:

LOAD ...

This table is similar to the previous one but it DOES have new fields (albeit derived from existing fields),

the load continues to load records into the previous resident table ...

following suggestion from a colleague I have tried sticking a

nocantenate before the load but this has not made any difference ...

I am going to post this on the NHS group as well so if you get stuck with this like me

you may, with a bit of luck, find the answer there ...

Would you mind posting a more complete snippet of your script? And, if possible, the corresponding script execution log file? [Or at best, a small sample app that demonstrate the issue]

Regards,

Stefan
