object don't move

i can't arrive to move my field object.

You go to the properties ->Layout tab->Check the allow move or size.Their you can move the field object

This is already set - and all the other suggestions already made on this discussion.  I've tried them all and none work.  I have a feeling it might be something to do with the interaction between the Operating System and Qlikview in handling a mouse drag/drop event....

Within sheet , you want to move the object means, use x-pos n y-pos in caption tab in chart properties.

or

In another sheet means, just copy and paste in that sheet object.

Thanks Mayil, but the SHIFT+CTRL+ARROWKEYS option works fine as a workaround for me.  Other than that I'm just after a real solution so I can drag objects around with the mouse again.

Layout -> move/size enable n caption is also enabled

Documenat Properties -> Move/Size Sheet Objects is enabled

These working:

ctrl+shift and move the arrow keys.

x-pos n y-pos in caption tab in chart properties.

When u click the header of the chart, you can able to see like '+' arrow key which shows all directional?

Last try.

1. Create a new qvw file and check the issue once.

2. If issue is still there, please reinstall the qv once n check it.

For a single object/ all objects -> you can't able to move a single object / all the objects in the file?

May be others have better solution.

This is definitely an issue, which seems to arise randomly. It affects all objects so is not a settings issue on a single object. Using the arrow keys is OK but doesn't work well on some objects such as search objects. Would be great if someone can find a solution. BTW, I'm using version 10.

FYI, I've sorted my problem.  I was getting crashing from Explorer on drag/drop too, so I reinstalled Windows (a bit of a drastic step, I know), and that solved all my problems.

Thanks to all that tried to help, and good luck to anyone with the same issue who doesn't want to reinstall Windows...
