syntax for Edit Expression

1.Does anybody know where there is documentation for the syntax of the expressions?

I'm a programmer but am new to qlikview. I just need help with simple stuff.

2. I have a warehouse id and if it's an '01' then I want to pull a column.

It won't be a sum just the value of that column.

In the QV desktop application, just hit F1, this should open the Help. There you should find a complete description of the syntax for all functions and commands available in QV.

I haven't fully understood your second request, sorry. Are you talking about loading a field only when a certain value is '01' (where do you get the value from?)?

Since there are some differences between QV and other BI tools, I would recommend looking at the tutorial, that you can download together with the reference manual from the download page.
