Expression for interval month in transaction

How to make an expression for interval month in transaction. For the example.

I have an transaction start on 14 March 2011 and this transaction finish 25 November 2011.

I want to get the invertal month between 14 March until 25 November. The result is 9.

How to make this expression?

I use 14 March 2011 as TRX_DATE field.
