Install on Windows 2012 Server Fails

Hi All,

Has anyone had experience with installing QlikView on their Windows 2012 Server ?

My attempts are failing with "The Operating system is not adequate for running Qlikview Server x64."

I'm uncertain what the inadequacy is, Its a new server dedicated for QV, (yes .NET 4 is loaded)

I am also using Windows server 2012.

You will have to download QlikviewServer Win2012andUP

from Qlikview .

QV 11.2 SR5 works without issue on Win 2012 Server

As mentioned earlier on this thread you need to use the Win2012andUP Install kit.

Hello Paul,

Download QlikViewDesktop_Win8andUp.exe for windows 2012 and install it. it will work fine  on windows 2012 R2 Server.
