Open a URL from a field selection

Hi,

I have a field that when it gets selected I want to launch a url.

I've trired using the built in actions: External -> Open URL but this seems to only work for buttons and not slections.

I have then tried to do this within a macro, but can find any help on the syntax needed.

Does anyone know the best way to do this and if so how? examples would be great.

I dont want to do it from a button.

Hi Simon,

Try the Following in an Expression

='Youtube' & '<url>www.youtube.com

Choose Representation as Link

If you have a listbox you could hide the Dimension or Choose Dimension as ' ' and the Expression becomes your Dimension with the link
