QV User Vanishes from Textbook

I have Section Access in my application.  I have created a textbox which captures the user name as follows:

The textbox has the following expression: ='User: ' &QVUser() as the Text.

Before reloading the application the above has the text:  User: Chitemerere Chris

However after reloading the application QV user Chitemerere Chris disappears and only User: as above appears.

What could be causing this?

The problem is that i had unchecked 'Remember login credentials until QlikView Exists' under user preferences.
