Hi Everyone,
This morning I was making a change to my script in my .QVW file and my Qlikview crashed. This has sometimes happened in the past, but until now I have had no problem reopening my .QVW file and continuing my work. I have leased a license from a Windows 2008 server for development and I'm using v10 SR1 64-bit edition for Qlikview.
I have read in other posts that I should generate a log file, but I don't understand how to accomplish that since I cannot go into Document Properties -> General and check generate log files when I cannot open the file to get to that menu.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Sean
On the start page, highlight the .qvw file that you want to open, right click and select "Open <file name> without data".
I found a similiar post to the problem I'm having (http://community.qlik.com//thread/13533) but the thread linked in the answer no longer exists. I'm assuming the 'without data' option means load the .qvw file without data? I'm fairly new to qlikview, so I'm not sure where this option is located! Does anyone know where this is located?
Thank you,
Sean

This worked! Thank you so much!
