Hi all,
this new platform looks kinda cool, but very much different and unusual... For people that mostly answer many questions from multiple communities and forums, is there a single place (similar to "Content" on the old platform) where we could see all questions from all forums in one list? It would be really hard to jump from forum to forum in order to answer questions...
Any ideas?
Oleg
Thank you for the kind words. I agree with you! This IS incredibly important. excellent point and suggestion.
Give me a day or so on this one please and I will circle back with you.
I guess this is what you were looking for:
https://community.qlik.com/t5/QlikView-Discussions/ct-p/qlikview-discussions
In that link, on the right hand pane, you will see options for QlikSense as well.
Cheers!
I believe what the user is wanting here is a way to see all unanswered questions irrespective of the product. So, a simple way to see all unanswered questions without having to bounce across all message boards.
We are already discussing about options on best way to deliver this quickly. Will keep you posted.
Yes, it would really be great to have an option to see all discussions (or a selectable subset, like all subscribed discussions) in one single place.
In addition, working on a large screen (1920x1200), I currently see only about 5 posts at the same time.
The current layout is probably looking great on a mobile, but it would also be great to have an option to view posts in a way that makes most of the real estate (call it 'condensed view' or whatever).
Best
Stefan
edit: Wait, this
https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Community-Help-Discussions/bd-p/qlik-community-help-discussions
is already somewhat better, I was talking about the list on the top most level community.qlik.com
LOL, it looks like many people got confused and started asking Qlik technical questions in the "Community Help Discussions" forum. Well, it is community help, in a way 🙂 Just not categorized 🙂
Melissa, I wanted to ask you a couple of questions directly. Is there a way to send a direct message on this platform?
I agree with you on the density of information. It doesn't look good on a 1366 x 768 laptop screen either. Reducing the zoom level in Chrome doesn't help either, it just reduces the size on the content leaving white borders on either side in the same way as when you view at 100% zoom on the 1920 x 1200 screen. I don't believe that many people would be using this site on mobile devices (excluding laptops) as we tend to use it alongside our Qlik development.
Still finding my way around the new community. I have a couple of questions...
