We would like to invite you to participate in our Open Data Challenge
When open, public data sources are available, the possibilities can be endless. In our previous data challenge we examined information on populations, poverty, healthcare issues, education, transportation, and environment, all in an effort to make a difference in the world. The question is, what can we improve next? That’s up to you when you enter the Qlik® Open Data Challenge.
By using your Qlik Sense® skills to create an app that uncovers trends, reveals patterns, or shows how public services could be delivered more efficiently, you can persuade people to take action. Enter our Open Data Challenge for a chance to win one of three cash prizes — and make a difference in the world.
In the Qlik® Open Data Challenge, you’ll have access to a wealth of data. All you need to do is decide the problem you’d like to fix. We’ll provide you with a free download of our latest and greatest, Qlik Sense® 2.1.1, and let you take care of the rest.
Our challenge is open to both professionals and students. The winning student entry is eligible for a cash prize of $1,000 and can be entered to win the grand prize. Winners will have to have their apps featured on http://demo.qlikview.com. For more information, please visit: www.qlik.com/us/landing/open-data-challenge.
Thank you for looking!
Hi Sara,
Thanks for sharing.
I have gone through the Terms and condition page for above and it says,
Entrants must comply with all terms of use of any data provided by, downloaded from or accessible via http://www.datacatalogs.org/ and the Data Market Third Party Terms located at http://www.qlik.com/legal/license-terms"
But when I logged into Datacatalogs.org, and select any data, it provides me the URL, which has data.
As I am getting migrated to any other website, but through Data Catalogs only, whether the same can be used for this competition.
Please revert.
Thanks & Regards,
Mrudul
