=sum(Aggr(avg([Pieces Produced]),[2024 Jan Feb Prod.Part#]))
Above formula gives me average of Jan and Feb data. (450+500+800)/3 = 583 (which is great).
However, can someone tell me how to modify above formula if I just want to see month of January Average? It should be (450+500)/2= 475. Thank you.
I want to use a table on a dashboard. Problem is the table has a large number of rows. I want to use slicers as filters with the table and make the table scrollable on another sheet (i.e my dashboard). My problem is that if I scrollbar the slicers and the scrollbar seems to get mixed up. I have the following formula in the scrollable table on the dashboard : =INDEX(Lande!$B$2:$B$45426,TableKultivarWereld2000tot2016!$U$1)
I tried to change the first reference in the index to : =INDEX(INDIRECT("Lande!B"&$U$3 &":B$45426" ),TableKultivarWereld2000tot2016!$U$1), but that does not give the correct value for the second row in my scrollable table.
I think I have to put the filtered range for the reference, but cannot figure out how to do that. Perhaps with a aggregate function using 10 ,5,Column?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards

Hello,
I am facing some issues while decoding Avro encoded messages.
Here is some information about my application/issue:
I would appreciate any comments/feedback on this issue.
Hi everyone,
we get sometimes following error message.
(06.12.2023 23:00:00) Error: The task "XYZ.qvw" failed. Exception: || QDSMain.Exceptions.TaskFailedException: Task execution failed with errors to follow. ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Der Wert darf nicht NULL sein. || Parametername: stringToUnescape || bei System.Uri.UnescapeDataString(String stringToUnescape) || bei QDSMain.DistributeTask.GetFileName(SourceDocumentFileName fileNameUrl) || bei QDSMain.DistributeTask.PerformExecute(IExecutingTaskResult executingTaskResult) || --- Ende der internen Ausnahmestapelüberwachung --- || bei QDSMain.DistributeTask.PerformExecute(IExecutingTaskResult executingTaskResult) || bei QDSMain.Task.AbstractTask.TaskExecution(CurrentExecutionArgs args)
This errors occurs only sometimes with no reason. We have different tasks which runs every evening after work hours. There are no parallel running tasks and the reload task chain is always the same:
Task 1.0: App 1.0 loading from DB and store QVDs
Task 1.1: App 1.1 loading from generated QVDs from App 1.0
Task 2.0: App 2.0 loading from DB and store QVDs
Task 2.1: App 2.1 loading from generated QVDs from App 2.0
and so on. Sometimes everything is fine and all of the apps are reloading correctly but sometimes all or only a few apps could not be reloaded due to error message above.
We also checked the help site https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/QlikView-Task-Failing-with-System-ArgumentNullException-Value/ta-p/1711804 but nothing seems to work for us or applies to us.
Any further ideas?
Thanks and BR
2oAndreas
Hello Qlik Community,
I am working on a project where I need to visualize the rolling percentage of requests completed over different days (Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, Day 14) in an area graph. Here's the scenario:
I have managed to calculate the percentage of requests completed at each individual day, but I need a cumulative rolling percentage from Day 1 to Day 14. For example:
I need to plot these rolling percentages as an area graph to visualize the cumulative completion over days within each month.
NUM(COUNT({<[Ready at Nth day]={'Day X'}>} item_number) / COUNT(TOTAL <[Effective Month Year]> item_number), '#,##0.00%')
Could someone please guide me on how to correctly calculate these rolling percentages and set up the area graph in Qlik Sense? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Hi,
I'm having trouble setting up Qlik Sense Desktop to pull data in from our ticket system Freshdesk due to issues with pagination.
API call in the following structure:
https://domain.freshdesk.com/api/v2/tickets?page=x
There's also a URL returned in the response header in the following structure:
Link: <https://domain.freshdesk.com/api/v2/tickets?page=x>; rel="next"
What are the correct settings for pagination in the data connection? Is URL possible, or does it have to be custom script?
An important point: there's nothing in the headers that refers to total responses from the query, so if the API call actually returns 50,000 tickets I wouldn't know and I'd just have to loop through until I hit a page that has a JSON string length of < x. This is exactly what I do in a custom c# app that parses the JSON and loads an SQL server but I'm looking at Qlik as a solution that negates the need for a data warehouse.
Thanks all
Follow this link: Using external credentials | Qlik Replicate Help I was able to have Qlik access my HashiCorp vault and pull in the password. I am looking to automate the rotation of these credentials. This creates a new username and password. Is there a way to dynamically pull in the username from vault as well as the password?
