Got this strange behavior sometimes that the chart is not executing the direct select query (nothing in connector log file) on a document opening or if a selection has changed. QlikView Desktop is just freezing and the chart refresh cannot be canceled by clicking the red cross. I'm testing with version 11.20.11616.0 IR, has anyone same experience?
Unfortunately the Direct Discovery beta group was removed...

I can confirm this behavoir, and did report it in the Beta group.
I also encountered it the same hanging on MSSQL .
Thanks Torben! Any other experiences? Which is the lates version you have tried?
I the meantime I got the info that this issue should be fixed in the GA version which will probably released next week.

I only tested the 11.2 beta which was DL on the day it was released. Which is build 11.20.11616.0
The error happened for every 3-8 queries.
I did however never get Implicit/Explicit to work. So I loaded too many fields, rather than a few needed.
Not only that, QlikView Direct Discovery is starting Qvconnect.exe two times and do not close them. So, at next interaction you'll have four of them..
I wonder that the Beta was closed so fast and hope this is fixed in GA.
Still same issues in IR 11643 (released today). A bit more stable although...
HI all, as the Beta is closed would it be possible to log a support case for outstanding issues please?
With as much information and steps to reproduce issues as possible. Many thanks.
Hi Greg,
I think therefor it would be useful that you build up a test environment with JDBC Connector and SAP HANA in your labs where we can collaborate to close those issues.
Best regards,
Ralf
Hi Ralf,
I think you should have received a request to access the QlikBug group today from Johan Bini. Johan is the project lead for 11.2 and is very interested in your input.
Kind regards

Greg, maybe you could provide us initially with a more recent build. As some of these bugs were reported during the beta, but we never had time to get them confirmed.
If you have done fixes, then I would presume that you have improved on the reliabilty.
