Hello Folks,
I am getting the error attached along below while opening any Qlikview document. The document i am opening is on server and qlikview product has been licensed here on my server. I have another 3 virtual interfaces on server from which i am using qlikview whereas it is one of the virtual interfaces which i was using yet. What could be the error. Need a prompt and an appropriate solution to the problem. Please help!
Thanks,
Owais Sarwar
This might be the possibility Marcus! I have recalled the incident happened at our office on 6th April. DC Neutral got double and the servers were not working for 5 days. There was a fault found in one of the server hardware and it was replaced on 10th April. This could be the issue after that there might have the possibility that license leased on this user disqualified and it would have been used on trail right.
Thanks for your hint Marcus! Thumbs up
The reason for this error-message is that you had no valid licence on this virtual interface. There might be any technically issue to the licence lease requirements but I think you have rather expired the max. number of 2 of leased licences for this user. This meant you could for example access an application per access point and accessing a document with a local desktop client - a third trial of accessing from another client/machine will fail.

If you want to be able to open that document again you need to buy a licence.
Hello Marcus,
I have 30 valid licenses leased on this server. It is accessible with the local administrator virtual interface and also, it was accessible before last week from this user.
I didn't meant the number of CAL's in the server else the number of possible leased licences per user which are 2. If it was working until the last week something must have changed - therefore was there any changes to the server settings, the licences or something within your environment within the network, group policies, active directory and of course try to check if something changed on the user-side, for example a new machine or anything else.

I will check the license leased on the developer CALs and will let you know. Thanks a lot for your advice
