Exceeding Max Values Under the Current Selection Box

Hi,

Probably a less intelligent question, but it's my first so go easy, please.  When you exceed the max values in the Current Selection Box and get a result like "465 of 73704" - what does that represent?  What is the 465 and what is the 73704?  To use a phrase from Reddit, explain it to me like I'm five.

Would that data be of use?  I'm not trying to fix it, I want to understand it.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Cheryl,

This means that based on selections in this (or any other fields), there are 465 related values out of a total of 73704 options.

Here's an example where I select some data and see an indication of what is selected versus everything available in that field (NPI). This is an example of our Qlik DataMarket CMS data for those interested. (I'm showing PNA readmission rates for all hospitals in Kansas and Missouri). The way this works is the same in QlikView and Qlik Sense.
