QDF for Sense

Hello
I've just started reading about QDF and all PDF files are QlikView-Oriented (file-based)

However in Sense we work on the server - I mean we open the hub via browser and in sense connection strings for example are not saved in file system

How can we benefit from QDF in Qlik Sense

Kindly advise
