Seeing Is Believing: How Visualizing Data Translates to Better Service for the Town of Oakville
Located just outside of Toronto, Canada, the Town of Oakville uses Qlik Sense in its Strategic Business Services group. The Business Solutions and Analytics team makes frequent use of Qlik GeoAnalytics for insights down to the ward level (not possible with PowerBI), leveraging geographic data from Esri and GIS data from Amanda Maps. Qlik dashboards provide insights into building permits and inspections, municipal inquiries and staff metrics, as well as Covid enforcement, call center services and social media monitoring.
