Is it possibe to dynamicaly create an association between 2 tables? In one use case we need the association between 2 tables and in the other use case we don't want the association. I was thinking of creating an association table on the fly (as the result of clicking a button).
ex.
table1 has columns key_1, data_1, table2 has columns key_2 and data_2. This will NOT result in an association between the tables
Now if I create a table (on the fly) that is populated with the association between table_1 and table_2, so this table will have the columns key_1 and key_2.
Dropping the table would break the association I suppose?
How can this be done? Are there alternatives?
