NPrinting Clustering and Load Balancing Capabilities

Hello all,

Just wondering if there were load balancing and clustering capabilities for the new versions of NPrinting. I am not talking about NPrinting connecting to a QV Cluster, but having an NPrinting Cluster.

So say one node fails, it will be able to run reports on another node. And reports tasks will be evenly distributed between nodes, similar to a QV cluster.

In the license there is a line for number of nodes so I tried to look this up but could not find much information on this.

I appreciate any information you guys have on this. Thank you

well, engine clasters always existed inNPrinting 17 and above. You need a license to run each engine though.

Web Server and Scheduler cannot be clatered. All info on help page:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2020/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/Multi-engi...

btw: logic used to distribute reports load between nodes will not be as you said: "....And reports tasks will be evenly distributed between nodes, similar to a QV cluster.....".

Workload logic is Qliks IP and is not shared."

cheers Lech, When applicable please mark the correct/appropriate replies as "solution" (you can mark up to 3 "solutions". Please LIKE threads if the provided solution is helpful to the problem.
