Always one selected value not working in document chaining - QlikView April-2019 SR1

Hi,

We are facing a problem in qlikview april-2019 SR1 with "always one selected value" option in multibox or any object.

The scenario is there are 3 sheets, one is main and other two are called by document chaining. When selections are done in main application and navigate to the other sheet, only the selected value in the main sheet needs to be shown, but all the values in the multibox or list box are getting selected. While checking the properties, in the called sheet object, "always one selected value" option is grayed out.

Anyone faced the similar issue.

Regards,

Jobson

To enable Always one selected value click on one and only one value of that listbox, then go to properties. The checkbox to enable it will be available.

Once the property is set up, check that it behaves as you expect with the document chaining, e.g.: only values possible in the target listbox will be also in the source, else the user will see nothing, everything or unexpected results.

Hi Miguel,

This was working without any issues in our previous version of QlikView (Nov2017 SR3).

The issue started with the report when we migrated to Apr2019 SR1. As we were testing the new version, this was noticed.

If this is an issue you can reproduce, I'd recommend submitting a case to Qlik Support so we can look into it.  I did a quick check of our software defects and we had some related to Always One Selected, but none that related to document chaining.  If you submit a case, please provide us the environment information, a test QVW that exhibits the issue and the steps necessary to reproduce.

Thanks,
Josh

Dear Josh,

Thanks for the support. Unfortunately as the data is confidential in nature, i would not be able to share any samples.

We are internally checking for a solution.
