Date to numeric - what is the logic behind that?

how do i get from 16-03-2020 to 43906? Can somebody explain that to me?

Hi @gustavofred , qlik saves dates as numbers, for example 16.03.2020 --> 43906.

So, if you check the number 1, it correspond to the 1-1-1900

And what about time?, if you have a timestamp 29-12-2020 9:31, its going to be 44194,40

So the decimals are the time! and the integer the date.
