Drop down list removed from excel after it's read by QlikView script

Hi,

My QV application reads data from Excel file. I have drop down lists in that Excel where users would choose necessary values and after that they need to be read by QV. The problem is that after reload drop down lists disappear from Excel file and when I open Excel I only have the last chosen values, but no drop down list possibility.

Is there a solution for this?

Qlikview accesses source files in read only mode, it doesn't affect the contents of the source unless it is explicitly told to...
In your place i would seek the answer for the dissappearence of you drop down lists somewhere else... 🙂
