Generating a predictable hyperlink to app selection state in IE Plugin

Hi,

My question about using a predictable hyperlink to go into an application with data selected was addressed in this question:

Automatically generated, predictable hyperlink to application selection state

Does anybody know if the same thing is possible using the IE Plugin?

Particularly using the following URL nomenclature:

http://<SERVER_NAME>/QvPlugin/opendoc.htm?document=<DOCUMENT_NAME>&select=LB01,A101

The above does not work. Is this even possible in the IE plugin?
