Hosted Server

Does anyone use Qlikview on a hosted server?

I'd welcome the feedback of anyone who has tried this, particularly any hidden downsides you've come across.

Raymond,

What do you mean by hosted? Hosted hardware or an entire hosted system?

While it's not a true hosted (i.e. SaaS) solution, QlikTech now offers a "cloud-based" solution for QlikView using Amazon's EC2 framework. We have a group of folks that are working with this new offering, you can join the group and participate in the discussion here:

From what I know, QlikTech does not have a licensing scheme for hosted QlikView solution.

So there is not hosted environment possible at this time. But to confirm, I would recommend to check with QlikTech or your Partner.

Hey Buddy..

To be very honest Qlik doesn't refer any hosting provider. However, it doesn't restrict you to use any hosting server. You can always go for Amazon managed Cloud hosting server by Cloudways or any other hosting server of your choice. But do ask them for their security levels before starting.
