Linest & Regression Analysis

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could offer some help on how I can use the QV linest functions for multiple dimensions (x values)?

I can calculate intercept and slope for a single dimension with no problems, however I would like to analyse 2 dimensions using this function, in the same way Excel will allow when using the LINEST formula.

Thanks in advance

DonV

Hi DonVito,

I am trying to figure that out too.. were you able to get an answer?

I am curious about this as well. The way the formula reads in the manual is it can only handle one variable. Have you heard anything else?

No sorry, I didn't get anything in Qlikview to do this.  Instead I used SQL Server then loaded the calculated data into Qlikview.

Have you tried nesting them?
