Permanent filtering of two similar charts?

Hi,

I have a report that contains a set of data representing magazine subscription orders received over a period of time for a number of different publishers.

What I am then trying to do is create a two near-identical charts, one that shows the results for all publishers alongside a second that shows the results for a specific individual publisher.

The only way I seem to be able to get the 'All Publishers' chart to stay filtered when I change the 'Specific Publisher' chart is by detaching the 'All Pulbishers' chart. However, on closing and re-opening the report the detach is dropped and I have to effectively re-apply things.

Is there a way of making the detaching persistant or is there an alternative approach I can take to solving the same problem?

Thanks in advance,

Will S-J

Hi

In the chart for the specific Publisher use an expression like the following

sum( {$<Publisher= {PublisherA} >} Measure )

Kind Regards
