Hi,

without expression? you mean like a table box? if so, you need to do it in script.

we can do it in both charts with using 'only' function.

in script

SET DateFormat='M/D/YYYY';

    shop3, 1/3/2016, Red, No

    shop4, 1/4/2016, Red, No

I would use the Generic Load.

SET DateFormat='M/D/YYYY';

Data:

LOAD *, shop & Day as RecId INLINE [

    shop, Day, Color, Status

    shop1, 1/1/2016, Red, Yes

    shop2, 1/2/2016, Red, Yes

    shop3, 1/3/2016, Red, No

    shop4, 1/4/2016, Red, No

    shop5, 1/5/2016, Red, Yes

    shop6, 1/6/2016, Red, Yes

    shop1, 1/1/2016, Green, No

    shop2, 1/2/2016, Green, No

    shop3, 1/3/2016, Green, Yes

    shop4, 1/4/2016, Green, Yes

    shop5, 1/5/2016, Green, No

    shop6, 1/6/2016, Green, No

    shop1, 1/1/2016, Yellow, Yes

    shop2, 1/2/2016, Yellow, Yes

    shop3, 1/3/2016, Yellow, No

    shop4, 1/4/2016, Yellow, No

    shop5, 1/5/2016, Yellow, Yes

    shop6, 1/6/2016, Yellow, Yes

];

There is simple way ... You must set up minimaly 1 expression, f.e. constant '1'. Then go tab Presentation in chart properties (right mouse button) and in list of columns select your expression (probably last position of list). Under list are options such as Show Column, Hide Column, Conditional ... You know what you need to select now
