Slow document

Hi all

Is our server slow or the document is slow?

I have a document with only 1.9 million rows in the Fact Table which is responding quite slow in Access Point.

Should that be the case with that many rows?

I tend to believe that it is set up correctly. (Obviously I cannot include a copy as it s a corporate proprietary information.)

Hi ,

1.9 million average data..

Check if your server is not loaded or are there too many very long expression in the front..

With above statement it's very hard to tell the reason..U need to figure out all causes by checking.

Server load, its capabilities, long expression used, internet capabilities at user end so n so..

How slow is slow?

1.9 M records aren't very much but your fatc-table looked quite wide and probably contain your multiple dimension-tables also many fields - do you really need them all in this application? To check this you could use the Document Analyzer V3.2 Update‌. Another point is the cardinality of your fields - what's meant see here: The Importance Of Being Distinct.

Further very important are the kind of expressions within your objects - try to avoid if-loops and aggr-functions.

Otherwise provide more informations about what's happening within this application.
