I have an Ecel file which have some numeric value in text format . When I edit the cell and press enter it turns to numeric. When I reload this excel file without fixinig text formated to numeric values I couldn't make Sum. Is it possible to get sum without changing the cell format from the excel file.
I also have some field with percentage symbol. I also want to sum them. Please also help me about this. Are there any specific statement like trim.
If i understand your requirement correctly, you can append Num method in load script while loading the data from excel file. Please refer QlikView Help document for formatting the number.
