Syntax Question

Hello Community,

if i write the expression for a comparative analysis i saw following syntax:

sum({[Group1]<DIMENSION = $::DIMENSION>} VALUE)

What does $::  mean? I only know that $ the whole selection mean but i don't know about the colon afer the dollar symbol.

$:: is QV11's syntax for "Pass from the default state". It is only relevant when using multiple states, and when placed in an object that is assocciated with a non-default state.
