Unable to display text object using conditional show

After reading Cannot display texbox using conditional show ‌‌and ‌QlikView App: At The Qlik Of A Button, I still can't seem to be able to show my text object using a condition.

1. I have a variable, vPopupBox, definition is 0

2. I have a text object with a condition: vPopupBox=1

3. I have a button object with action > set external > variable:vPopupBox > if(vPopupBox=0,1,0)

Apparently, my text object is still not showing up.

Do you guys have any idea how to resolve this issue? I have attached the training qlikview file I am working on.

add "=" for the trigger
