substring in macro

Hi,

I am using a macro readin and writing in excel. I have a number in excel that looks like this: LR 1

now in my macro I am saving this LR 1 in a variable and then I want to split the number and just save the 1 and ignore the LR cause I need to add a number to the 1

can someone help me?

right('"LR 1",1) or replace("LR 1","LR","") or see here if there's a function that matches your needs.
