Hi @Asokan,

This looks to be a Snowflake error message. Have you reached out to Snowflake support or researched error on the Snowflake forums? Based on what I have seen in the past regarding this error, it is typically due to a proxy not being whitelisted on the Snowflake side - https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/hostname-allowlist.

Best Regards

Working fine now, issue was intermittent while loading larger data set, ( error suggests that driver doesn't have access to the internal storage of snowflake where the large results set is stored temporarily). Thanks ,best wishes..

Hello @Chip_Matejowsky @Asokan ,

I am writing to you regarding a persistent issue we are facing with our Snowflake connection. We are consistently receiving the error message: "Result download worker error: Arrow chunk download failed max retries done." PFA log file for your reference

This issue has been ongoing for several months, and we have already taken the following troubleshooting steps:

  • A ticket has been created with Snowflake support.

  • We have upgraded our ODBC drivers.

  • We have used SnowCD to verify that all necessary endpoints are allowed.

  • Our Network Security team has confirmed that no firewall is blocking the connection.

Despite these efforts, the error continues to occur. We are seeking any other recommendations or insights that could help us resolve this issue.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sincerely,
Nilesh

Hello @Nilesh_C,

The error being returned in the QlikView document log is what is received from the data source. So, not a QV error per se. As in the original issue of this thread, the issue is most likely a Snowflake issue.

A quick Google search of the error returned the following:
https://community.snowflake.com/s/article/CURLerror-SSL-peer-certificate-or-SSH-remote-key-was-not-O...
https://knowledge.alteryx.com/index/s/article/Snowflake-Error-Result-download-worker-error-Arrow-chu...

Suggest you continue to work with Snowflake support on this issue.

If you wish to open a case with Qlik Support for this matter, you'll first need to upgrade the QlikView Server/Desktop installation to a supported version. Per the log you provided, the version is May 2021 (12.60).  Support for version May 2021 ended in May 2023. Qlik Support and R&D will address issues in supported versions of products.

Best Regards
