Can disabled hyperthrading/power saving good for qlikview server

I I have read a document regarding this and found that HT disable is good for server performance in qlikview context.

where as i chat with It guy. they said that disabling Ht can decrease efficiency of server. and also i thing some where in document

so i would like to know you valuable feed back and suggesstions on this.

should i go for disable or not.

For QlikView both are beneficial.

Your IT bod is certainly correct to point out that often this would be bad.  But for QlikView it is good.
