Custom format doesn't always work

Hello,

I have a table that is in 'light' style, and I want to custom format it. I view design grid, right click on custom format cell, and make the changes in the custom formatting dialogue box. The dialogue box appears to be making the changes, but then when I click OK and exit the dialogue box, nothing has changed. I use custom formatting a lot, and this does not usually happen.

Can anyone help?

I've never seen this problem before. Can you post an example? Also let us know what version you're using.
