How to make the expressions as legend horizontally as shown below.

Hello,

press CTRL+SHIFT with marked chart.Then you can move the legend. Then trim the legend width

Hi,

In presentation tab there is an option of limit legend where in you can input the no of characters required.

else you can reduce the font size of the legend. You can find the font setting in the same tab below show legend.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

Thanks for your reply! But this is not exactly the one I am looking for!

I wanted to display the legent horizontally instead of showing it vertically.

For eg:

At present the legend is show like this:

. ABC

. DEF

. GHI

I want to show like this

. ABC . DEF . GHI

How it is understandable now.

I got you point. I think its pretty easy. Select the chart and then Press Shift + Ctr . Yonu might see a red box.

Reduce the size of the legend to one label i. it e if it has 3 labels/legends reduce the height to display one, Then drag it below the X axis.

I was able to achieve the same.

Thanks for your reply. After pressing Shift + Ctr I was able to display horizontally but when the same thing when I tried with other chart it is not happening.

I am not able to do the following points. Please let me know how to do that step by step.

It works with Bar and line chart. Which all chart type you have tried. Can you attach one sample application.

I worked just by dragging and dropping it and altering the height.

But I am confused what do you want to say here
